Contact Sam for inquiries and upcoming bookings Happy 2025! Please join me for my presentation sponsored by the American Photographic Artists, Washington, DC chapter. This Zoom event is free and you may attend with registration. I will speak to how each serendipitous turn in my journey with photography built upon, was strengthened, and elevated by my previous photographic work experiences. My path encompasses a wide range of photography. From my origins as a documentary/news photographer, to making portraits of business and media titans for magazines which led me to corporate and annual report photography that included work as the Newseum's principal contract photographer for over 12 years. My current architectural and people work under the umbrella of urban development and placemaking photography emanated from creating giga-pixel cityscape panoramas as the technology of blending digital exposures arose. All with a common thread of seeking to create effective, emotive storytelling imagery. Numerous other photos I made for the BID's image library are sprinkled throughout this informative guide to "supporting creative, unique, well-designed places and experiences."
